Not all of us are as lucky to hear the entire album. But through online purchases and second grade bootlegs, we've found four new Hip songs. Which of the four are you feeling. For me, I can't wait for You're Everywhere (Ballroom), and am still puzzled as to why this song wasn't released as a single. I'm more than ecstatic about the new songs, but if/when they release a third single, isn't You're Everywhere where it's at? Vaccination Scar's been a hit for me since day one, and Summer's Killing Us has found its way into my morning routine of checking my email and my bank balance in desperation for beer after work... but of the four I NEED ballroom,ballroom,ballroom... you?

I wanna hear Joezephine, And ya V.S. has been a hit for me as well!! I can't wait to hear V.S. LIVEEEEEEE!!!! I have a feeling it's gonna be 1 of those 1's where they'll throw in a little something, maybe an extended opening I figure.....
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Well I dig VS. Ballroom's the obvious choice, it's ultra catchy. But the Hip might have been trying to make a statement with the singles.

They haven't always made the right choices when it comes to singles. On IVL, I'm not sure if there's a song that couldn't have been a single(except Throwing off Glass) which had already been on a soundtrack. Dire Wolf and Dark Canuck would've been radio hits. Perhaps they are making a statement, but on the other hand, you have to sell records to be able to tour and live the way you want to.
Now, we haven't(most of us) heard the rest of the album. Should the album be similar to VS and SKU, I vote hands down for Ballroom to be the next single. Anyone have a problem bear with that?

I really really like Jospehine. I think its a stellar song, but I would have to agree that Ballroom (You're Everywhere) would probably be a better single. It has a more radio friendly feeling to it.
