Hip tour dates!!!!
#16

Looks like Sarnia and Wasaga for me.

Big Bonus- My parents own a bar, so Molson (The sponsor of Bayfest) gives us free tix. The only thing better than a HIp concert, is a free Hip Concert :jump

Never been to Wasaga, so this will make a trip very necessary.

Baby #2 is due June 21st..... wow this is going to be very challenging!
My other hope is them doing a pre-tour warm up gig around the Toronto area...good chance of that I'd say... and the album premiere for sure in June!

I went to thehip show in Sarnia in 2002 and it was a great show but the venue was really really bad. They split the stage in half in front and it was under-agers on one side and over 19 on the other side. It was way over-sold. I wouldn't go there again. I'm thinking of maybe checking out Wasaga Beach but I've never been. Does anyone know where they would play there? Anyone here when tickets go on sale and where?

That's actually not a bad idea. It would be a good way to save some money! I for sure will be hitting Wasaga and Sarnia too! Can't wait! :jump

RELAX everyone. they will announce more dates soon. they are not going to pack it in after playing a 5 show tour. i noticed from the poll that a lot of people are not happy with the tour dates, and i just want to remind everyone that im sure they wil announce more shows soon.

Really you joking, I thought that was it, 5 shows in mostly small centres in Ontario. I personally thought the rest of Canada and the US and Europe didnt matter to the boys no more. I thought Sarnia was the new Toronto.

Apparently this year there will be a gargantuan beer tent at the very back of the venue that holds 5000 people, and you wont be allowed to travel outside the tent with your drink. That should help with crowding and foot traffic. There will still be drinking and non-drinking sides though. This all came about because last year they had the teenagers crammed in so tight for the Blink 182 show last year, they had to open the drinking section so nobody would suffocate. The liquor board was not impressed.

If you dont want to deal with the masses, show up early and grab a seat on the hill.
