Note that I didn't slag IV anyway; I said I didn't mind it except for the stupid keyboards and that one atrocious line. Apparently any criticism of anything the Hip do is 'hate.' :roll:

At least you’re allowed to criticize on here, unlike that awful Facebook fan forum. I swear every time I read through some posts I wonder why I haven’t I unliked that page yet. The first post I clicked on tonight, a guy questioning who a couple songs on Introduce Yerself may be about, was quickly reminded that you aren’t allowed to discuss song meanings on the group. And the second one I clicked on, an image of a Gord Downie book, was again quickly informed by the police that the book wasn’t authorized by the band.

Yea, I find they're a little too sanctimonious about things, and they seem to get really testy when people post things that violate their strict rules. I still check it out once in a while, but of course I spend way more time in here. This place is like a warm, comfy pair of slippers.
