Cure for Pain: The Mark Sandman Story
#1

Just finished watching this documentary. One of the most absorbing music docs I've ever seen. Very moving, fascinating, and also incredibly sad. Such a brilliant and talented guy, and his death was so strange and sudden. For any Morphine fans here, I highly recommend checking this movie out if you get the chance. I couldn't find the DVD anywhere in town, so I ended up odering it directly from the film company that produced it:

Time to dust off my Morphine CDs and give 'em a spin.

I remember seeing them on the BBC Glastonbury show late night one time.
Was amazed at the complexity of the music with the simplicity of the source instruments.
Will put this on my Chrimbo list.

Still picking up the elderly from the floor, still dealing with the drunks, now wrestling seals and posting it on twitter.. @richardilderton
