War Child has joined forces with 102.1 The Edge to bring you a weekly online auction of amazing memorabilia, tickets, and unique experiences, while helping children in war zones. New auction items will be announced each week on 102.1 The Edge as part of Thursday 30 with Dave Bookman.

There might not be a more Canadian way to celebrate Canada Day weekend than with one of the most revered Canadian bands of all time, The Tragically Hip. Canada Day weekend 2012 saw the band play special shows for die-hard fans across Ontario - on both an intimate and large scale level - with a sold out fan club show at the Jackson Triggs Estate Winery and a massive festival at The Commons at Butler’s Barracks in Niagara-On-The-Lake, a massive festival at Burl’s Creek and a sold out special night at The Kee to Bala. The band were kind enough to sign a guitar for War Child during this amazing run.
