I was shocked and extremely saddened to hear about this. I knew he was battling cancer but didn't know it was that bad. He even filed his last column today, talk about battling right til the end.

I always enjoyed reading his columns on sportsnet.ca and listening to him on Prime Time Sports on the fan590.

R.I.P. Jim.
