Does anyone have any insight into the first line of 'Times are passing us by' ?

Been using software to transcribe the tune. Have all other lyrics but the first line. Most lyrics posted on the net of this tune are far from correct.

I think the first line is "Say Good Bye to my Old Whisper Chain(s)"

Any ideas would be appreciated

I checked out that link a while back but most of those lyrics are incorrect. Using a program called transcribe and several different versions of Times I have worked out most of the lyrics.

I am hoping that some might know someone in the crew to get some answers from.
