RIP Frankie Venom
#1

Punk rock and Hamilton lost a favourite son this morning...

Lead singer of Teenage Head dies of cancer at age 52.

How ironic that he passes the same morning they announced that the Head would be given a lifetime achievement award at this year's Hamilton Music Awards... Sad

RIP...

...and even if it had nothing to do with the Hip - that is no reason for such a crass and cold response to what is obviously a sad post about the passing of a musician. We're all music lovers man, and it's a shame that 'this is in the wrong forum' somehow popped in your mind before 'that's really sad - and I should act with respect'.

Either way -- may he rest in peace and my thoughts are with his family.

Dana, tht is an awesome version of that song/show. I was at that show and was blown away they pulled that song out. Is that from the same show that was up on the tracker, because my version is a little muddy (typical for an arena show). But yours is so clear and crisp. Thanks for posting that.

Many of the Hip Cover Tunes were recorded by other dedicated fans during the World Container tour and were made available via hipfans.com. That is where this version is from.
