I'd love to see Oasis, unforunately they they aren't coming any further East than Montreal.

Stone Temple Pilots are going to announce a huge North American tour shortly too, playing something like 65 dates!

1: Ryan Adams is opening the eastern dates as well
2: He'll be added to Toronto V-Fest.

I sincerely comisserate with any of you who chosse to go and see the travelling Gallagher roadshow... their last tour over here was apparantly bloody awful!

I've seen Oasis the last two times they swung through Toronto and loved every minute of it. They are the main reason I want to catch Virgin as well.

Spot on Chris..Ive been lucky enought to see Oasis 4 times and every show was fantastic, they're great performers. Im insanely jealous over the Calgary lineup though.

Which tour was that, Matt? I saw them last in Milton Keynes in 2005 (my fourth Oasis show). It was a great, no frills rock show. The bad point was it was in the middle of freaking nowhere and took about 8 hours to get home. Bloody place.

As much as I enjoy them live, I don't think I'd ever follow them on tour like I would The Manics or The Hip. One (or possibly two) shows a tour seems to do the trick.

It was 2006, a Sports Stadium tour and I believe there was tension at the time as Starkey was coming straight off of the Oasis Tour to go out with The Who (or the other way around). They played two nights at the Rose Bowl here and were received extremely poorly, despite being the first 'stadium' act in Hampshire in my adult life.
