"It's because I know what I'm talking about, I know whats going on, and you dont!"

and then I think he added, I'm always right, and I'm right about everything.. or something similar to that.

Just once - when he goes on a rant about what a genius he is and the rest of us don't know anything - I'd like someone to ask him about his tenure of head coach of the Colorado Rockies, or his Mississauga Ice Dogs tenure.

Seems to me that his "success" in the game can be attributed to him saying one smart thing over and over again, that smart thing being: "Orr, get on the ice".

"May 10, 1979 - Boston coach Don Cherry makes the mistake of his career when the Bruins, leading by a goal, are caught with too many men on the ice in the dying minutes of Game 7 of a Conference Final against Montreal. Guy Lafleur scores the tying goal on the ensuing power play before Yvon Lambert wins the series in overtime."

Just one of those jems that I found in my NHL desk calender for May 10th. funny huh?

Which goes to show, you can say, "Orr, get on the ice" once too often. Smile
