They don't really have as many hockey songs as people seem to think they do. They just have an unfortunate habit of releasing them as singles, so those are the only Hip songs most people know.

Now, if they put out a "songs about water" compilation, it could be a double album.

I forget the name of the song and i'm not about to look into it but on one of Gord'ssolo records at the end of a song there's a clip from an actual hockey game and a breif interview of a hockey player follows. Anoyone know who and what games that was and why its included at the end of the song?

The hockey player in the clip from Steeplechase is Garnet "Ace" Bailey. He played on the Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins in 1970 & 1972. He also played on other NHL teams.

At the time of his death, Ace Bailey was the director of scouting operations for the Los Angeles Kings. Bailey died on September 11, 2001 as a passenger on UAL flight 175 that was flown into the World Trade Center.
