All you DBT fans might wanna check this album out, cause it's an absolutely killer disc. Isbell was 1/3 of the Drive-By Truckers songwriting team for three albums before his departure from the band earlier this summer. This is his first solo album and it's one hell of a strong debut. "Chicago Promenade" might be my favorite song of the year so far.

I downloaded a copy of this a few months ago. Haven't seen it anywhere in stores though. Pretty decent album, it's too bad he won't be writing songs with the DBT's anymore.
