ROBERT PLANT WORKING ON DUETS ALBUM WITH COUNTRY STAR

Robert Plant has been spotted out and about in Nashville recently, but he's not on vacation. According to the Tenneseean newspaper, the Led Zeppelin frontman is working on a duets project with country and bluegrass star Alison Krauss. There's no word on how far along the sessions are or when it might be released, but the paper holds the idea of a Krauss/Plant album in high esteem, saying, "They should probably go ahead and book their trips to the 2008 Grammy Awards."


Also read that there's a Plant box set out, with all his solo cds remastered with bonus tracks, a DVD with live shit,, interviews..cool booklet..etc..

wow that is cool. I really like Alison Krauss. I think Plants voice teamed with hers will sound really good.

Krauss' voice is silky sweet, and Plant has always had a flair for the traditional American forms.

picked up the box set today, and it's beautifuly packaged....the cd remastering sounds great..haven't had a chance to watch the dvd yet, but it has all his videos and an hour long doc with interviews and shit with people like tori amos, lenny kravitz, roger daltrey and john mcenroe...some great bonus live stuff on the cds, and the cool tune 'watery bint' that i haven't heard in years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT ROCKS!!!

Just watched the DVD...fucking cool!!! it's a must for ANY sort of Plant fan to see...great interviews, and wonderful insight from Robert on his solo carreer
