lullaby
#1

My buddy just had a baby girl. I was going to put some nice lullaby songs together for them. I got some songs from an old post from Opiated but some of them are a little down. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Would you consider "Pretend" a lullaby? Big Grin

Check out Lullaby Berceuse by Connie Kaldor not neccesarily your traditional lullabies but very good. Very useful for setting a calm mood with my son.

No. Your thread was about more somber, sad songs but there was some good ones in there 2.

This may require more thought, but my initial suggestion is Billy Joel - Lullaby. That one kind of goes without saying... if my home PC had a working PSU, then I'd be able to look up a few other "mellow go-to-sleep" songs.

Through some "creative downloading", I found a cd of lullabye renditions of Radiohead songs. I think there is one for Coldplay as well, although any cd of their's could put you to sleep

If you're after a true lullabye cd, Fisher Price Tender Lullabies is what my wife and I have used for our 13 month old daughter, since she was born. One word of warning though, it will have the same effect on the parents as the child.....
