Hey friends,
The Joel Plaskett Emergency can't talk right now -- they're busy prepping songs for their upcoming recording sessions! That's right, the time has come. The Emergency is heading back into the studio to record their first full length album since Truthfully Truthfully. Hoping to have it out in early 2007. Recording with producer Gordie Johnson, the man behind the Make A Little Noise EP. Speaking of, thanks to all of you who have been requesting "Nowhere With You" on your local stations -- the song was recently #3 on Canada's Hot AC chart!
Even with recording The Emergency will be playing some shows this fall. Really excited about the CBCRadio3 event at the Kool Haus on October 1st. It's a show to celebrate International Music Day and the show also features Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton, Les Trois Accords, and Les Breastfeeders. Tickets are free but you have to register for them: go here. Another free show on October 5th in Dartmouth to help celebrate Keith's 211th Birthday! Read all about it here. Both free shows are 19+.
