I thought it was great. It's not Mann's best film by any means, but I think it holds up pretty well, and it's certainly better than most of the crap that Hollywood usually puts out during the summer.

I understand if its a theater experience movie but those are few and far between now

I rarely get to the theatre these days (with a 21 month old and another one the way), but I think Michael Mann movies are definitely better in the theatre than at home. I've got surround sound and an LCD TV, but there's still something in the atmosphere that doesn't translate.

Ahh but how big is your TV, and do you have a sub, with decent speakers? my room is much better sounding than a movie theatre, I still like going to the movies because it is cool on a super big screen, but the theatre just isn't the same experience as it once was, to many pricks in the theatre talking loud or on phones with total disregard to the people around them.

Why cant people shut up during movies? It has gotten alot worse over the last couple of years it seems. During Superman a ladies cell phone rang so she opened it and started talking on it. Are you kidding me?
