cell phones...
#1

Obviously this will be different for Canada and US hipbasers...
but I was wondering...
Who do you all use for cell phone carriers? Are there any companies that you wouldn't go near bc of past experiences?
I've always had an acct with sprint & come June my latest contract will be over. I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble of changing and if so, who has good customer service?... I have friends who have horror stories about other pcs companies. Anyway, before I renew another contract I just thought I'd ask you all for your thoughts...

PS: I'm not sure if this makes any difference - but my cell phone is my primary phone - so it gets alot of wear and tear fast - therefore I need one that will be good and hopefully stay alive longer than most.

Thanks, S

I haven't had any issues with Verizon.

I recently bought a new cell phone, and while researching, I came across this site. You can compare cell phones and plans. I hope it helps!

BTW I use Bell, and I have no complaints yet.

Same here. I've had Verizon for 5 years now - Go from PA to DE, NJ, & NY - very little connection or roaming problems.

I have several friends who have Nextel - I have to say how annoying it is to constantly hear, "Please hold while the Nextel Customer you have tried to reach is located".

i currently use rogers. i think you can find faults in all the companies. Only stayed with them after my first contract expired because they offered me a better deal when i told them i was leaving.

I've been with Fido for about seven years now. Although they are now owned by Rogers, Fido's customer service is still unparalleled. I haven't had to buy a new phone once in seven years; they eagerly replace my broken phones with more current models. And early last year, they called me to tell me they were sending me a brand new phone, 'just because'.
