well i just ordered the pearl jam show from buffalo may 2
do any of you think the hip would ever think of doing this i mean recording the shows and releasing them to fans say through the hipclub ( man haven't been there in a while don't even know where i wrote my password) well pj give you a link to download unmastered mp3s then within two weeks after the show you get the cd.

their reason for doing this was they were sick of hearing crappy bootlegs
man wouldn't it be great to have the hip do this one can only dream

I know what you mean. I'm just listening to the State College show right now from last saturday. 3 1/2 hrs. 36 songs!! I heard something about realeasing a dvd available at the shows as well.

I can't wait for the end of the month and my road trip out to Vancouver. 8)

I am suprised more bands have not followed the PJ lead and released their whole tour for fans to buy. Its a great idea. Plus, it preempts the bootleggers out there who are tring to make a pretty penny off fans.

Pearl Jam is my 2nd favourite band. They are 100% a fans band.

I wish The Hip would release boots like Pearl Jam, but I don't think they will in the near future.

I'm seeing PJ for the first time June 15, I can't wait.

Went to Pearl Jam last night and I must say one of the best live shows I have ever been to. Eddie did a great solo version of Tom Petty's I won't back down. I also love the fact that in about a month I will have the mastered bootleg in my hands. I d/l the mp3's of the show today and it sounds great. If you can do yourself the favour and check them out on this tour, it will be well worth it.

Fargo...two weeks today!

I just got back from an incredible road trip to Vancouver to see this show. Unreal. A bunch of us from Calgary headed out on thursday and camped just outside of Kamloops. The next day we rolled into downtown Vancouver and checked into the Hotel Vancouver smelling of campfire and looking like people on a camping budget and not like people who could afford a $440 room. Didn't have to pay that much though. A friend works for the Fairamount Hotel chain and was able to get us the rooms for less than a 1/4 of that price. With the 6 of us staying there it worked out to $45 each. Extremley nice hotel and very close to GM Place.

Gotta agree with everything dannya2 said about the show and so much more. I've never seen a more energized crowed ever. The entire place was going off. Everyone was up dancing and singing and having a great time.

Do what you have to to go and see them on this tour. You will not regret it. I'm listening to the show right now and it sounds great. Can't wait for the discs to arrive in the mail.

Rye, get ready for a great show down in Fargo. Wish I could see more on the tour.

It's going to be hard for the Ozzman to top that on Wed. but I'm more than willing to head on down to the Saddledome to check it out.

Ya I can't complain. Been a great spring really and it's not even over yet. Ozzy in 2 days and Sheryl Crow in about a month.

Been a little tough on the wallet though. All well worth it in my mind though, nothing beats good live music. Let alone all the great live music that it's turned out to be so far. :thumb: :thumb:
