The long-running Canadian quintet is our northern neighbors' answer to early R.E.M., having served up nearly two decades of lithe and literate rock. Two remarkably strong audio discs dubbed "yer favourites" -- the tracks were chosen by 150,000 voting fans -- form the retrospective's backbone. One DVD collects videos and other trappings; the second is a concert film neatly showcasing the band's silvery interplay and lead singer Gordon Downie's stream-of-consciousness bantering. SB
