Ugh, I need sleep. Three game sevens tonight. Leafs and Philly on early, then the 'Lanche/Minn at 11:30pm ADT on TSN and Blues/'Nucks at 11pm ADT. I pray for no OT! :|

Well, I picked two out of three. That's pretty good. If only Toronto won I would have been perfect. Toronto!!!

I wonder what kind of excuses Pat Quinn is going to come up with for the loss... any guesses from the non-Leaf fans in the forum?

West: DAL vs. ANA; VAN vs. MIN
East: OTT vs. PHI; TB vs. NJ

Yah, why does Quinn always have an excuse? Does he think the Leafs will work harder next time....??
Once again, I think it is time to give him only one job...

Excuses he may use:
-they brought forth the better game, we had a lot of guys who were secretly injured, we just didn't have it that night

What he should say:
-We are desperate for defence (DESPERATE), we can't make plays while going on the rush, Sundin is once again useless to us but he prolly has a no-trade clause, and the team is getting so old and next year will be a bigger problem.

 They always make the same mistakes

Quinn's got no excuses this time . The Leafs played great for six games , too bad it's a 7 game series . They just packed it in that last game , folded like a cheap suit and hung Eddie out to dry . Canucks game was fun to watch , man there wer'e some great hits , Pronger on Reid , Bertuzzi on some poor bugger behind the net . Rutuu was throwing his weight around too . Ottawa / Philly should be a great series. I imagine Minnesota will try and trap the hell out of Vancouver , if Vancouver hits anything that's green and skates they should be fine .

I think it was either Joe Bowen or Harry Neale that put it best when he said that the Leafs defence orphaned Eddie Belfour in game 7. If my defence wasn't taking the body then I would slash people in the back of the legs too.
