Andybody else gonna head down to the Horseshoe tonight for the Trews gig? I'm gonna attempt to be there, but seeing as its free, it might be tough.

For what it's worth, I attended the show, and it was very good, they're a quality group, and despite the 'shoe being packed and hot, and me waking up deaf in my left ear, it was worth it (esp. considering the $0 price.)

Highly recommended if they're in your area.

I haven't had the chance to see these guys live yet, I'm always doing something else when they're around here but I heard they are great live. I picked up their new album "Den of Thieves" yesterday and it is great. Hopefully I'll be able to catch these guys live sometime.

Yeah, I've seen them outdoors and in a small bar. They were great both times. The concert at the bar was fantastic and LONG. Well worth the money. Colin can belt it out live. I could do without the unnecessary drum solo by their drummer but other than that they rock pretty hard live.

Yeah, the drum solo was there again on tuesday night, but it wasn't as long, and it segued right into not ready to go, which was killer, and i'm not really a big fan of that song. But you know, colin does have a killer voice, NOW unfavorably compared them to the Black Crowes, but I would favorably compare them to the Black Crowes, ain't nothin terribly wrong with them other than the fact that Chris Robinson unfairly robbed Kate Hudson's destiny of ending up with me away from her.

However, back to the trews, you know, they change it up, threw in some stones at the end of tired of waiting, and the new disc isn't bad.

And no, I don't work for the band. They just impressed me.
