Had so much fun with the earlier poll on Gord's best grunts, I thought I'd run with this:

He doesn't do this in the STUDIO much any more, but Gord's gotten off some of the best shrieks known to man. Which is your fave?

Methodology is a problem, e.g., what constitutes a 'scream?' Is the blurted 'SQUAWK" on 'Leave' a scream, for instance? How about the 'highway romance milkin thIIIIEEF' bit on 'On the Verge?' Ah, me.

Live recordings DON"T COUNT. It goes without saying that his on-stage hollers kill anything done on record...witness the 'Live 8' voice-shredding :thumb:

For recent stuff, how about the impassionedness of "when I reel my irish in ...". The first couple times I listened to that song I couldn't believe the emotion he packed into that line. had to stop and take another listen.

I voted for Locked though. Cuz Locked is wicked.
