So how many of the boys from the Copper Country check this site out? Well boys (and girls) we gotta get the Hip to play Milwaukee! We can go to Dino's in riverwest for a coupla pops before and after the show!

Copper Country??? That's a first for me. I'm wishing the Hip would play Summerfest again but I'm not holding my breath...John Hiatt and NMAS together is going to be one kick ass show though!!

Did you know that NMAS is opening for and Backing up Hiatt, There are not coming to Toronto, very dissapointed in that!

Did you know that NMAS is opening for and Backing up Hiatt, There are not coming to Toronto, very dissapointed in that!
Heh, Milwaukee is "only" 500 miles away from Toronto, tis a mere 12 hour road trip :lol: If I wasn't sharing a house with two other people I would have been happy to give you a place to crash. :thumb:

I don't know if you guys reply know what I am speaking of when talking Copper Country, that is in the UP and contains exciting cities of Houghton, Hancock, and Calumet. Also contains such great towns as Mohawk, Ahmeek, and the always exciting Kearsarge! If you are in Milwaukee visit Dino's on Fratney and Chambers and tell them you know Brendan like the Hip and hockey, they will then serve you! Gus is also a regular now. Hip has to put together a tour this summer!

No I am not a UWM student, my buddy's family owns the bar and that is where I hang out quite a bit. I actually bought a house in West Allis but make the trip to riverwest. I graduated from Michigan Technological University that is in Houghton MI.
How many hip fans do you know of in Milwaukee? I have thought about having a "Hip Night" there sometime if there is enough interest. Just have Hip playing non stop and probably have some Blue on tap. Pretty much an excuse to meet other Hipsters from Milwaukee. Every show I have been to in Milwaukee I usaully meet people from out of town or people that just felt like going to a concert that happened to have the Hip playing.

I know of very few Hip fans in the Milwaukee area...there was another Hipbaser on here with whom I went to the Chicago show but I think he moved to New York. I'm trying to get my girlfriend interested in the Hip but she has gravitated towards Blue Rodeo..either way she's got my vote for having good taste
