I was thrilled when I watched the local news and saw the USA Hockey team practicing here in the Adirondacks. I think they do every year but never noticed because the NHL was always in action.

Anyway, They're in Lake Placid at the newly named Herb Brooks Arena, formerly known as The Lake Placid Olympic Arena. They're obviously americans but there are some who play for Canadian teams. Not sure if the practices are open to the public. They are getting ready for the World Championships in Switzerland.

I read the title of the thread and thought maybe the NHL and the PA agreed to a deal after they agreed to permanently muzzle Bettman and Goodenow. :lol: :lol: Oh well, a man can dream, right?

Anyway, I think Team Canada just finished a training camp in Calgary and are scheduled to play the US in an exhibition game or two before the Worlds. Should be interesting.

Kinda takes me back to school. If the boys teased you it usually meant they liked you. Here if it's a sign of acceptance, I'm all for that. I'm known to pick on people because I like them!
