Mac iBook praise
#1

Well as I announced on here a little while ago I finally got around to getting my hands on a mac.

It's been about a month now that I've been using it somewhat regularly and I have nothing but praise for this thing. I'm absolutely blown away with the quality of this machine and the software that is on it. I've been building my own PCs for about the last 6 or 7 years and I'd say I'm a power user and know how to get what I want out of a PC. Let's just say I've never been able to customize my machine to the same degree that this G4 iBook is made. Apple has totally thought of everything with this thing. I haven't used a mac regularly in about 10 years, but I had no idea they were this well made. OS X Panther is very killer too, just overall a very impressive package.

In the meantime, Windows can eat my shorts.

Again, I'm BLOWN AWAY with the quality of this thing... and haha, kinda ironic I'm posting this message from internet explorer on a pc.. lol

Maybe he was distracted by the fat sacks of cash hanging from every inch of his Empire.

I think that I've praised the Mac enough over the years; I'm just happy that other people are starting to get it.

On a side note, referencing the "What's wrong with us Hip fans?" thread... The way non-Hip fans treat Hip fans, is much the way Windoze users malign Mac users...

I'm always amazed at how passionate people can get about their brand of computer - I mean I don't ever recall someone with a Panasonic TV ripping into my Sony TV. But for people to get as passionate about Macs as they do, I'm seriously considering one as my next computer so that I can experience it first hand. The only hurdle - and it is a major one - would be convincing my "change is bad" wife to go from a PC to a Mac.

Im starting to dig the Mac's as well, but I think the reason Ive avoided them is because of the fear of the unknown mostly, I was always worried I wouldnt be able to use the thing  But I was watching Dotto's Data Cafe, and he was going over the features of the new Mac OS and it was very impressive and looked easy to use. By the way Im so mad at Microsoft right now, I dont think I'll ever buy a PC again :x :x

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Once you get your hands on a Mac you will find that it is way simpler to use then windoze, and you will never go back.
