They look really neat and are a fitting tribute to a truly great man who has raised hundreds of millions of dollars towards cancer research, although I read in the paper his mom said he would probably be embarrased by such a tribute. Hopefully they will sell them at the post office and the money raised will go towards cancer research.

Definitely a great tribute to a great Canadian. I heard someone say that everytime they got one of these coins back as change, they would set aside a dollar to go towards the Terry Fox Foundation or to another worthy cancer research charity, and then put that coin back into circulation. Imagine what would happen if everyone did that? What may seem like a minor gesture would raise large amounts of money for charity if many people followed through on this.
Sounds like a great idea to me.
