"Thompson Girl, I'm stranded at the unique motel" This song is about a girl from Thompson, Manitoba that Jonny dated. From what I have heard from my friend Mike, she was a very attractive gym teacher. Apparantly the hip had spent Christmas in Thompson for a couple of years."It looks like Christmas at 55 degrees" From what I have heard, after a while things got complicated and it was very hard to see each other.
