so how bout this game we got goin here? pretty good so far...my only question...why is it on Saturday?

The NFL has an agreement with college football they can't run games on college saturdays. As well, they can't run games on 'high school' fridays. But since college ball has entered corporate whoredom....errrrr....Bowl season, there arent 105 games on saturday anymore, and the last few weeks the NFL generally puts a few games on each saturday, to get national coverage and bigger ratings. I believe there are 3 games today.

yea there are 3 games on today. And next week there will be games on friday, saturday and sunday. I LOVE THE NFL but the NFC is garbage!

Funny how times change. I remember back in the day when the league was owned by the NFC East and the Niners, the NFC Championship game was always the real Super Bowl.

I really, really hope so. Am I the only one that isn't totally sold on Big Ben yet? He's done some great things as a rookie quarterback but I don't think he has what it takes to get them the Superbowl. Hope I"m wrong.
