Ah! Everything is as it should be. Maybe if Bush gets re-elected, the cold comfort I can take away is the confused look on his face when he hears Canada's proposing new pot reforms. He's probably thinking "Aw dayum, if they'd done this 30 years ago i woulda been a Canadian by now!"

Hopefully it will get all the way through, and even though they're only proposing decriminalization, it's a start.
Alaska and Nevada are on the brink of taking it a step further and before the night is over could become the first states to drop both criminal and civil charges for smaller amounts.

Well, I was wrong about the Nevada proposal, turns out they did not have enough signatures to make the ballot...sorry. As for Alaska, they voted no, 57% to 43%.
Now it's up to Canada to lead the way.

But I noticed Montana decided to allow marijuana for "medicinal purposes". I can't wait for someone to stumble into the governor's office at the wrong moment and have him stammer "it's....uh....for my glaucoma."
