Affleck and Garner
#1

Maybe it's just because I'm a cynical bastard, but when I see 5,000 shots of that knob Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner at the World Series, I think its a publicity stunt. I mean if that guy grew up in Boston a "die hard" Sox fan and they are in the World Series for the first time since 1986, are you trying to tell me that he doesn't have any friends that would KILL to be at the game that he could take instead? But instead he shows up with his new celebrity squeeze?!? Are you kidding me?

You've also got to love that he blames the media for the demise of his relationship with J-Lo, yet he's carting around his new girlfriend to World Series games and sitting where cameras can easily spot him.

Am I the only one in the world that is sick and tired of constantly seeing this no talent hack every time I turn on the TV or read a magazine?

No you aren't the only one tired of seeing him. I could actually stand him if he had any talent but he doesn't. He is a below average actor and a goofy cheeseball nerd. I dare any person to name one good acting performance by Affleck.

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Affleck has had only one performance worthy of being labeled great and that was in Good Will Hunting. After that took off, his ego became bigger than his acting ability.

Although I think that was a great movie, I think it was great in spite of Affleck. Damon, Williams, and Driver are the driving force (pardon the pun) behind the movie.

Never been a huge Affleck fan but I have to admit, I saw him host SNL one night and the guy was pretty funny. They did a whole scene on the filming on Gigi, it was worht a few laughs.

That skit was hilarious. I think he's a lousy actor, but ya gotta give the guy credit for at least being able to make fun of himself. Another good scene was the one in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back where he and Matt Damon are making fun of each other's films. I thought that was great.

What about Dogma. The movie was great. He was pretty funny in that. It seems like in order for him to be at least okay in a movie, he needs to stick around Kevin Smith. I think its that sh*t eatin' grin he always has on his face that people dont like. Thats why he did so good in Dogma. His part needed a sh*t eatin' grin.

Maybe we'll se a cameo in the Clerks sequel?! Confusedcratch:

I must admit, I did like Paycheck.

Well his new movie tanked this weekend, so I guess I'm not alone. Looks like Satan has finally arrived to collect Affleck's soul.

The guy is god-awful

teh only 2 flicks i actually enjoyed seeing him in were....

Dazed & Confused... who didnt enjoy seeing him as O'bannion getting that paint poured on him.

and of course Mallrats when he played the big bully Shannon Hamilton from the mens clothing store "Fashionable Male".

Seeing Jason Lee get the better of him at the end of that movie was pure enjoyment.

Other than those flicks i am hard pressed to find another movie staring this clown that is worth watching.
