Just a sidebar to this whole "pre-sale" thing...

My wife and I are going to see Great Big Sea that same weekend at the Amphitheatre...Tickets for that show were first offered up via Amex "Front of the Line"; when I checked what they had to offer in the pre-sale, they were very similar to what this pre-sale is offering (ie. 200 level on the sides)...I checked the GBS discussion board and many die-hards bought tickets that day...

Fast forward to the ACTUAL first day of sales; I go on at 10:00am and find myself staring at two tickets in the second row on the floor (it's not GA in the pit for that show), which I quickly scooped up...

The moral of this story? Good things sometimes come to those who wait... :wink:

The Hip Club presale (Wednesday/Thursday) must have the floor seats. All my ticket purchases for the IVL tour were through the HipClub, and all were floor seats. It must be. I was on at 10:05, and the best I could get was section 202. Floors and 100's must be through HipClub.

I believe the 100 level and floors are one and the same. I mean i would prefer floors I had them the last time the hip played here, but my constraint mentioned above means these are prolly the best seats I would be able to get anyways....I'm glad to be seeing them again, and am thankful im not in 300's. but oh well. Floors next time and now i know better than to use radio presales thinking I will be able to get the best seats.
