one of the best slide guitar players, if not the best, is derek trucks of the allman brothers. i've caught him live 4 times in the last eight months. he first played with the allmans when he was eleven. the band thought it was a joke. they all had to pick there jaws off the floor after he played for them. i got a chance to meet him late last year and just a down to earth guy. his solo band is great too.

I couldn't agree with you more. Absolutely amazing. I'm sure that there is a lot more that could be said, but there's no need. Just take a listen, that'll tell you everything you need to know about Derek.
