Damn Good Song!
#46

Alright, I just tried to put this song onto my minidisc player. What do I have to do to it to get it on there? Goddamn protection preventing me from easily burning something I paid for onto my own listening device!! Bullshit. I need this song on my MD so I can take it on the road.

bah.

had the same problem...

i just ended up burning it onto a cd and then using my MD writer to transfer the song from the cd.

if you've got a burner and a disc to spare it seems to be the easiest... that i could figure out anyway.

totally and completely borgs.

If you don't want to use an actual CD, another good way is to burn the song onto an "image CD". I don't know what other software packages are compatible, but Nero allows you to create an "image" drive. It's an imaginary drive that your computer treats like another CD drive, and it plays "discs" that are really just files on your hard-drive. It works really well with Sony's MD Simple Burner. All I have to do is "load" the image CD (as if I were putting an acutal CD into a drive), and then Simple Burner recognizes that there is music on that drive and I can copy it directly to my MD player.

Thanks for the tips, sucks to have to go through all that just to get one song onto a MD but I've gone through worse to get copy protected cds onto MD. I'll do it as soon as I get home tonight.
