O.k. so I saw this on the google site. Anyone heard of this?? For some reason this is a bit scary.

Tragically Yours Luke Perry, formerly the brooding, misunderstood heartthrob Dylan, shows another dimension of his talent by documenting a month in the life of the Ontario quintet--and Seattle favorites--The Tragically Hip. The film's highlight comes at a drunken after-show party, where vocalist Gordon Downie and bassist Gord Sinclair come to blows in a dispute over which "Gordie" Perry's attractive production assistant had been coming on to.

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

That's a joke, people. A joke. Just 'cuz it's in print doesn't mean it can't be sarcastic.

Sure, the fight scenario is a joke but I doubt that the whole article is made up. There's no basis for publishing a blurb about a ficticious documentary really, whereas the context of a real documentary leading to a ficticious fight between band members at least makes for a plausible attempt at humor.

I bet Perry was introduced to the Hip's music by Jason Priestlay, fellow 90210 alum and native Canadian, who, incidentally, produced a documentary on another Canadian band: BNL.
