The Horrible Esthete Wrote:Billy Wrote:I'll be honest, I have only ever heard "Sunrise on the Sufferbus" and the reason was because Ginger Baker (of Cream fame) was the drummer. I was/am a Cream fan and this album has such a great bluesy, Cream feel to it. "Ants In The Kitchen" could easily be a Cream song.
Ah, i see. Not a bad reason. Ginger's work on that record is one of the most impactful I've ever heard (for a percussionist). Dude is one of the liveliest drummers there ever was. With him, nothing is subdued, and nothing is 'plain'.
With or without Ginger, I think MoR is the greatest rock band in the world that few have ever heard of.
So you're suggesting I should go listen to other albums then? Where should I start?
