I'll be honest, I have only ever heard "Sunrise on the Sufferbus" and the reason was because Ginger Baker (of Cream fame) was the drummer. I was/am a Cream fan and this album has such a great bluesy, Cream feel to it. "Ants In The Kitchen" could easily be a Cream song.

Ah, i see. Not a bad reason. Ginger's work on that record is one of the most impactful I've ever heard (for a percussionist). Dude is one of the liveliest drummers there ever was. With him, nothing is subdued, and nothing is 'plain'.

With or without Ginger, I think MoR is the greatest rock band in the world that few have ever heard of.

Oh, absolutely you should check out their other records (that is, if you like what you hear on Sufferbus aside from Baker's drumming). I suggest that ANYONE who really gets into harder rock styles check out several of their records. The percussion on the other records isn't quite up to the Ginger Standard, but it more than suffices.

The first one you should check out, without question, is the first one (self-titled, but often referred to as The Blue Garden).



It's a little heavier than Sufferbus, and it's killer. I love every song on it, but "John Brown" has to be one of my favorite hard rock songs of all time.

After that, I'd check out either Deep in the Hole or Welcome to the Western Lodge



Both of these are not as "strightforward" as SOTS or MoR; they are what I'd describe as "darker", and are much more unique under the umbrella of a heavy rock style, and very creative.

If you make it to either of these and like what you hear, you'll surely want to get the rest.
