Fantastic album! I'd say it's just as good, if not better than "Fox Confessor Brings the Flood", which is a pretty tough album to follow up. Once again her songwriting is top notch, her lyrics are excellent, and that gorgeous voice of hers just washes over you. It's absolutely hypnotic.

I think it's okay.
It has unfortunate timing though. I downloaded it right before Joel Plaskett's "Three" and, well, now I have WATS which I can't stop playing "Honey Please."
Thing about Middle Cyclone is that nothing really stood out for me. That's not a bad thing, just one of those albums that you need to get the feel of before you can get into it. I've listened to it a few times but it's going to take a few more to really feel the album. I just wish she would come to Winnipeg and play a show that ISNT the Folk Festival.
