New AC/DC - "Rock 'N Roll Train" from Black Ice
#1

Just heard the new tune. 8 years since the last album...
and as I find with just about all AC/DC... (except 'It's A Long Way To The Top' & 'The Jack')...

Anyone else hear it?

I heard it this morning, and if you've ever heard any other AC/DC song, you've already heard this one. Brian Johnson could start singing any one of their other songs in the middle and you wouldn't even notice.

If someone would have told me that this was an AC/DC song from 20 years ago, I wouldn't have questioned it at all.

AC/DC is AC/DC. don't expect to hear fantastic music. that said.. it isn't a bad song.

$1000 says that if someone from the Hip came out and said how awesome the song is, then over half the people here would say they love it.

cool hand bonner, you really must have a loathe-on for the DC if they make you want to swallow hard boiled eggs?

imo there are two periods when ac/dc kicked ass Bon’s and that masterpiece noir composed in his honour
as mark says AC/DC is AC/DC

I get what you're saying...it's not a bad song.

But if a band refuses to evolve in any way whatsoever, a new song better be as good as its many predecessors, and this one isn't. So my question is: what's the point of even doing it?

At least you didn't just hear a new KISS tune. Be thankful for that. :rambo:
