The End - Hiccups
#1

I'm not sure if this has been discussed on here before, but I was just listening to The End by the Doors and I found that the jam starting at about the 1:50 mark to a little over the 3 minute mark had a moderate resemblance to the Hiccups jam the Hip sometimes do before Daredevil. I know the Hip started out doing Doors covers and count them as an influence. I just thought this was interesting. Has anyone else noticed this? or am I way off base here? Take a listen and see what you think.

What Doors songs did they use to do?

I can't recall any certain songs, I just thought I read somewhere that they did Doors covers in high school when they were starting out. I could be wrong.. either way I still find a striking similarity between The End and Hiccups.

Wow.
I have listened to The End recently a couple of times (for some reason it has been coming up on random) - and I never noticed this.
Right as soon as I read this, I knew exactly what you were talking about. I cannot get either tune out of my head right now. Cool. Nice catch.
All that is missing is a little organ. Bring back Chris Brown! (really)
