Artpark Summer Show?
#1

So as I am reading the Buffalo News today, I notice a picture of Gord at the bottom of the page...as a preview to Friday's Gusto, which lists all arts and entertainment for the upcoming weeks and months including concerts, movies, theatre, dining, etc.

Next to the pic of Gord it says, "What will Artpark have in store for the summer season?" In Friday's (tomorrow) Gusto.

Is the pic of Gord there just because they played a couple shows there in the past? Or does the pic imply that The Hip will be at Artpark in Lewiston this summer?

I will be interested to pick up a paper tomorrow and find out!

Anyone here hear anything or see this in the Buffalo News?

If this is just a tease, well then :nooooo in advance!

....I do see that Blue Rodeo will be playing a free show on Tues, July 15 there, Sam Roberts will be playing there on Wed, July 30 :thumb:

It just says that the SRB show is part of the "Wednesdays on the Gorge" series. I assume it is free, but am not 100%.

I am in the hotel industry and I was at a meeting in Lewiston about a month ago and Art Park was presenting to us announcing their summer line up. They did not mention the Hip so of course I brought it up and what they said was they were trying to get them to come again and holding some dates just in case. The Hip do love playing there and last year they actually wanted to come back. They are as we know pretty busy this summer but do have some time available before Pemberton after Ottawa or of course Canada day is still available like last year although they have Charlottetown the night before so lets just say July 4th (independence day) with the Hip at Art Park! :thumb:

want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

Let us hope so!!! :jump Kingston seems like a year ago. The only thing that makes me doubt there will be a show is last year's were announced fairly early. We are already into mid May.
