Ottawa BluesFest yesterday.

I can't beleive I missed him! I travelled all the way to Ottawa for the last three days of Bluesfest, and then ended up walking out early on the "Have Love Will Travel" set, due to the rain. I swore that I wouldn't let rain keep me away from any shows, but that was one I was willing to miss. I'm glad that Ackroyd and Belushi are able to use their celebrity to introduce uninitiated people to the blues, but lets face it, these guys are actors, not singers. Their show (what I saw of it) was a lot of fun, but its a really rehearsed act, including the banter between songs. It just doesn't stand up against the likes of the Allman Brothers, which were my run-away favorites of the weekend.
