Liev Schreiber to join cast of CSI - Jenna_Bird - 01-17-2007

Here's an article from CNN.com.

I am really excited to see what develops here. According to the article it is only a 4-episode stint, but I think Schrieber is a fabulously talented actor. I had the chance to see him on Broadway in Betrayal and was amazed.

I was wondering how they were going to fill Grissom's absence (William Petersen is doing somke stage work in Rhode Island, who knew?) and this sounds like a great way to do it.

Will anyone else be tuning in tomorrow night?

Yup. I'm a huge fan of CSI (Vegas only), and it'll be interesting to see what Schrieber's character brings to the table.

I heard a rumor that Gary Sinesse (sp?) is heading over from CSI NY. Anyone else hear this??

I heard a rumor that Gary Sinesse (sp?) is heading over from CSI NY. Anyone else hear this??

I wouldn't mind seeing that. Sinise is great. In my opinion he's the only reason to watch the NY show. But CSI Miami is by far the worst of the spin-offs. Horatio is arguably the most annoying character on TV. Caruso sucks.

I used to watch CSI Miami because I loved to hate Horatio, now I can't even stand to do that....Vegas is the only watchable CSI.
