Reading Tab - clayton_k - 07-25-2003

Here is an article on reading tab:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.olga.net/faq/tabbing.php">http://www.olga.net/faq/tabbing.php</a><!-- m -->

Generally the chord voicings are written like:

   G A
e 3 0
B 0 2
G 0 2
D 0 2
A 2 0
E 3 x

But you'll also see them like:
G 320003
A x02220

- tragicallysteve - 07-18-2004

because bobcaygeon is played in open G tuning

- D-man - 07-19-2004

If you look at the beginning of the tab, it will say how to properly tune Guitar 1 to play this song. As tragicallysteve said, it is in open G tuning, thus making a G chord when every string is played open.
