backyard rinks -

So, this year, we're having our pool filled in and I'm thinking about building a backyard rink.
I helped a guy build about 4 rinks last year, so I have a general idea on how this thing works. But I'm wondering if anyone here has built one, and if so, do you have any tips?
Thanks
Dan

I build one last year and found this sight useful...

the key is a good base of snow - pack it down when it is mild and the once temps drop to -10 or so soak it well – a good base will allow the rink to handle a few days of + temps during the winter
this year has been difficult to get going as it has been warm with little snow but yesterday and today it sits at -10 so I have been flooding away…..

Yeah the weather has been very mild here too, no snow at all
(plus we have for the first real frost before the guys will start breaking down the pool)
thanks for the link I'll check it out
