I can't believe The Band isn't listed. They take the cake....best artist though, in my opinion, is Gordon Downie. He would never beat out Neil though.

From an International perspective, the Guess Who is the best band we have had. They had one or two #1 hits in the world, they outsold the Beatles at one point. BTW, how about BTO?

From a strictly Canadian perspective, The Hip is THE band, here is Winnipeg they are simply known as God's Band.
