1st Annual Hipbase College Bowl Mania Pool - Shane Kroeker - 12-11-2006

Okay Hipbasers, I've heard an awful lot of College football chatter on here lately, so its about time that all NCAA lovers are challenged to the ultimate test of Bowl wisdom.
Pick the winners of each college football bowl game, and select how confident you are that the team will win. Make your picks now... BCS is approaching!

We currently have 6 entries in the Hipbase Bowl Mania pool. To maximize your chance of winning, submit your entry before December 19th. You might as well just enter now if you are confident in your NCAA football knowledge...

Bowl Mania is here! Tonight the first bowl game is between TCU and Northern Illinois, you can watch it at 8:00PM EST on The Score channel. If you have not entered the Hipbase bowl mania pool, Now would be the most opportune time to do so! Hopefully after every day a bowl game is played, we will update the standings onto Hipbase.com, so bragging rights are most definately on the line.
P.S. You have an advantage, as everyone knows who esthete is going to pick in the BCS Championship game... :lol:

Yes.....c'mon 'basers! We need more entries! The more the merrier, and it's not as if you have to worry about your score. Picking the winners is what you want to do, of course, but take it from me -- this type of pick 'em game is most often won and lost by which confidence factors you put on which games. It's a heckuva lot of fun.

Thanks for the reminder guys, I keep forgetting to do my picks. I just sent myself an email at home so I remember to do it before kickoff tonight (I can't do the picks here at the office cause our stupid corporate firewall blocks all espn-related sites Sad ).

Lance, you've gotta enter... I thought you were a sports fan. (maybe I was wrong? The Oilers probably won't make the playoffs anyways...)
Stephen Dame, The Liberals aren't calling for the election for at least the rest of this year... Surely you can find the time to make some picks. (Maybe you can even include the Bowl Mania winner in next year's "T'was the Night Before a Hipbase Christmas"!)

That game was a mismatch. TCU is a far more complete and balanced team than NIU.
