Baby Girls Rule! - sherpahigh - 12-08-2006

Dec. 6th was an awesome day! Best day I can ever recall. At about 11:00pm on Wed. the love of my life came into the world and I couldn't be happier. My wife had a fantastic and pretty short labor and my new little girl is perfectly healthy as is her mom.

Such an amazing experience, just awesome.

Raya (pronounced Rye-ah) is the new love of my life and she's the most beautiful girl there is. I'll try and post a picture here soon.

Thanks everyone! It's been such a great couple days. The whole labor and delivery experience was actually pretty great for both of us. When it came down to the last hour or so I started up Yer Favorites (cause I couldn't make a decision on any one particular album) on the iPod and it was the perfect thing for keeping us both a bit calmer. It's a Good Life if You don't Weaken was the song playing for the big moment and it all seemed perfect.

Congrats bud! There's definitely a bit of a baby boom going on in this town lately. We were at the Rocky View and actually had some great timing in regards to getting some good private rooms and stuff but it was really busy the day before and as we were leaving apparently. You're going to love it though. All the best! Do you know if it's a boy or a girl? we didn't know, my wife could have sworn the whole time it was a boy I didn't have a clue. It's such a cool surprise to get.
