I'm thinking about getting an iPod shuffle from the Apple store online. I want to engrave it with a Hip lyric. Right now I'm trying to decide between:

(a) Sound that makes the headphones edible

and

(b) Your imagination's having puppies

I'm leaning towards (b) because I like Something On more than I like Save The Planet, but I think (a) is a more appropriate lyric given that, you know, it's an iPod.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

A hip reference that works on so many levels.

I'd go for (a) of the two!

My 20gb iPod has a Led Zep lyric (Hammer Of The Gods...) on it, choice of my good lady as she ordered it for me after my previous iPod was stolen.

The next time I upgrade I'll probably have a Hip lyric engraved on... I'm thinking something good, if a little obvious, like 'Falstaff sings a sorrowful refrain'...

iPod shuffles don't have any metal on the outside of them, therefore you can't engrave them.

The new shuffles have anodized aluminum. Therefore, you can.

My 60gb iPod isn't engraved, but that would be my choice....most fitting :thumb:

I think there was a post about this a while back...there were some good suggestions back then if memory serves...

I think it was Chris that suggested "Music that can take ya away" I liked that one although it's not the exact lyric, it is damn close...1 letter too many to make it perfect...damn.

Why would you want to ruin a nice electronic device with something like that.

How would engraving it ruin it? It won't impact its ability to play music, which is what I am getting it for.

I had "where it takes me..." engraved on mine from Pearl Jam's Release - "I'll ride the wave... where it takes me..."

my suggestion is to not look too hard for your answer, it should be natural... just my .02
