A Picture from my hip-memorbilia collection... I have had for years... a classic... I have never seen it again or have I ever seen the source talked about on ebay or hipbase.

So I wanted to share and ask....

Where is Picture From?

It looks like it may have been taken in 1993 at the Kumbaya Festival.

Kumbaya Festival Calendar. 1994:

... not sure how I got the calendar... it stayed as a calendar for years and then eventually I ripped Gord out and Framed it.. it hangs in my home office with many other hip-rarities...

As for you posting "Maria".... that whole Hip performance is something i wanted to start a topic on..titled "GREATEST MISSES".... I've see so much of the hips shows and got myself into some cool situations with the band (roadied ARA, backstage, soundchecks, video shoot, etc).... but this is the one show if I could go back that I would wanted to have been at... it was a defining moment for some reason.... that MARIA.. just gives me chills... Cash...rocks out heavy on the guitar,,, and Gord takes the song into a new dimenson... not too mention the anticipation of the Hip still to hit the stage....

More importantly, where can I get the shirt!!

I have been involved in British Divers Marine Life rescue for a number of years now (The team who tried to rescue the Thames whale this year, amongst others) so the irony is quite sweet.

I've got that calendar...and that pic. Those were Andrew MacNaughtan's photos. He's right up there with Richard Beland in terms of being a great photographer of musicians.

Cheers, but I don't think i can support a site that on another page states, in relation to 9/11 and the WTC 'Never Forget... that no plane hit this building'

And Gord's shirt is cooler anyway :-)
