Just curious if anyone has bought or noticed new merchandise at the current shows. Calgary...Phoenix etc...
Any World Container Merchandise being sold?

There were two new shirts at the Phoenix but to tell you the truth, I didn't venture over to the table. Spent the bulk of my night(s) at the front (woo hoo!). :jump :jump

I know Billy Ray was wearing a zip-up hoodie that had the "World Container" World on it. Don't know if they were for sale but it looked pretty cool nonetheless!

Yep you can get a world ocntainer hoodie or green T. the girl cuts have teh best logos one them. I don't like the black guys shirt with a heart on it. THere is also a laf decent blue shirt with the snake on it.
You can alos buy a gordie hat, pins and THC papers for smoking when teh band is trying to wade through you...

ya, the Gordie hat is light green I think with the World Container symbol on the side. I picked up one of the t-shirst with the tour dates for all the club shows on the back.

Outside the Phoenix after night #2 there were t-shirts being sold outside the Phoenix. They were black with the Phoenix logo on it saying the tragically Hip and the tour dates on the back of all club dates. Best part was that they were only $10. So I picked one up.
Anybody else buy one or see them?

I'm thinking that since it was outside, that they are probably illegal. But maybe not, I dunno.

I wonder if the Phoenix was aware that thier logo was being used........anyway...didn't see anything like that outside the UofC, but then again it was butt-cold out and I was running for the door.
The green Gordie cap is pretty sweet looking, 30 bucks, but well worth it, kinda like the nightmare drive from Edmonton to Calgary through the snowy gloom to see the show.

I'm sure they were being sold illegally because it was just a guy selling them out of a duffle bag. They still look neat and are a decent souvenir. They are so tiny though. I got an XL and it is no bigger than a men's Medium.

A Gordie hat? Really? The same hat he wears during shows now? If so, that's pretty cool. I like those hats. :thumb:

I didn't like the merch that much, I wanted the hoodie but the logo on the front was too big for me,
yeah defenetly time for a new touque, but that reminds me now that it's cold again to find my IBE touque!!

there's also a th track jacket...it's pretty sweet. sixty bones i think.
i want a hat but i'm size 8 and scared to try them on and potentially say "no."
