An Evening With... Or not? - nhaste - 10-18-2006
Has anyone heard anything about whether the upcoming shows will be in the Evening With... format (like the Music @ Work Tour)... or regular shows? I'm guessing they'll play longer than 90 minutes with there being no opener.

Some info that came from this interview was about the next tour.
I don't think it's been said before but they are announcing the dates this Monday.
The Constantines, Buck 65 and The Sadies will be openers.

I heard that interview, I believe what they said was that those bands will be opening for them on the full tour in Jan/Feb. Gord said in the interview that they're doing the club shows "on our own".

Oh yeah, sorry. I misread what you posted. I thought you were talking about the big Canadian tour. I assume they'll just play about 22-24 songs like they usually do with an opener, except without the opener.

I would assume that a U.S. tour will accompany the release of WC down there -- probably March, once the Canadian dates are done.

FM96 just announced they have a big concert announcement monday morning at 7:30am...
They gave the hint that it is one of our favourite bands and it is a London Show.
So all signs point to this being a Hip show, and a London show is always nice. And of course they say there will be a Freeloader presale!!

wow, I'll definately be going to the Barrie and London shows, I assuem there will be a Toronto ACC show for sure as well and who knows maybe some other smaller arenas around southern Ontario. Pearl Jam did play Kitchener Auditorium last year. This is aweosme.

I bet they'll go to the Soo with the new Steelback Centre there...I really hope they don't skip Sudbury though.
